I recently dined at Planta, a fully vegan restaurant in South Beach. Overall, I had a great experience with delicious and creative food. The chicken fried mushrooms were a standout - perfectly crispy and flavorful. The vegan sushi rolls were inventive and satisfying. The key lime cheesecake did not disappoint! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant itself has a trendy vibe, which creates a nice atmosphere.
Love planta, one of my favorite restaurants! Came for maki Monday unlimited vegan sushi and even my non vegan friends were obsessed!! The server was super sweet and also the manager stopped by our table and I love her too! You must try the truffle udon noodles. No one makes them better. So so good! Fav sushi is torched & pressed and the spicy tuna. Any time I’m in Florida I make a stop here!!
Amazing all Vegan Restaurant in South Beach! Beautiful plants in and out lend a feeling of being on vacation in an exotic location. Went there for the Thanksgiving special which did not disappoint!Everything on the menu was super delicious outdoing any traditional Thanksgiving feast. Good way to show how plant based is not only healthier but also more nutritious and delicious.
We had a wonderful dinner at Planta. Being that I’ve been to the Planta in BK and Planta Queen in Manhattan, we knew what to expect. The firecracker wings were delicious! That sauce and they’re lightly fried to perfection. I wanted another plate! The Nashville hot tofu bao came with two pieces. Boas have a very soft and pillowy dough, delicious flavor of the tofu inside. We usually get the nachos because they are always the best but we decided to try the crispy chick’n sandwich, which was tasty but honestly it was like anything you could’ve done at home with a frozen chick’n patty on a bun with lettuce tomato and pickles...it was good but nothing special. There was no special sauce or crunchy mushroom bacon out something to really lift the profile that made it on the level of their other dishes. Really surprised and disappointed by that sandwich. Our waiter was nice but forgot about us a lot since we were sitting outside. The place is beautiful inside and lots of greenery of course. Great atmosphere and overall a delicious meal. Definitely recommend. It’s located off the main road like kind of tucked away next to parking.
Any place vegan is awesome and makes me feel @ home! This place was well worth the bike ride, excellent customer service, awesome food & can't wait to go back next time in Miami!
The food here is exquisite, and the place is an oasis in the busy SoBe area. My favorites were the Bang Bang Broccoli and the Dragon Roll. Thumbs up as well to the Avocado Tartar and the Chaga-Chaiccino (it's a complicated name for a golden latte). The place itself is quiet, which I appreciated, lit with natural light coming from huge windows and skylights.
Food is next level! Even simple spicy tomato pasta turned out extraordinary great. Their truffle pasta (udon noodles) is the best I’ve ever eaten. Nice location as well
Great food and great service. Our waitress was really enthusiastic. The makis were good, the portions were large. I was shocked by how big the kids' pizza was. My highlights were the mushroom beef and broccoli as well as the key lime cheesecake. The ambiance is spaceous and luminous. Everything was clean and well designed. They were a bit slow to bring the wine, and there was a mixup in the tofu, but she offered to fix it. Overall, we had a great experience, and I would definitely recommend it!
